2500+ MMR

The pinnacle. Only the most dedicated players reach Diamond. You've mastered every game.

Onyx

1800 – 2500 MMR

Elite territory. Onyx players are feared in every lobby. Diamond is within reach.

Ruby

1200 – 1800 MMR

Serious competitors live here. Your skills are sharp, your reflexes sharper.

Hydrix

800 – 1200 MMR

The grind gets real. Hydrix players know every trick in the book.

Citrine

500 – 800 MMR

You're no longer a beginner. Citrine marks the start of competitive play.

How It Works

A single MMR tracks your skill across all Nostalgia Nuke multiplayer games.

Queue Ranked

Jump into a ranked match from any supported game. You'll be matched with players at a similar skill level using MMR-based matchmaking.

Earn MMR

Win matches to gain MMR. Lose and you'll drop. Your placement determines how much you gain or lose — first place earns the most.

Rank Up

As your MMR climbs, you'll advance through divisions and tiers. Each tier has 4 divisions to push through before reaching the next gemstone.

Earn Shards

Finish in the top 3 of a ranked match to earn shards matching your current rank. Higher ranks drop rarer, more valuable shards.

Gemstone Shards

Eight unique gemstone currencies tied to each rank. Earn them by competing, spend them on exclusive items, or convert them up the ladder.

Each gemstone has its own shop stocked with exclusive items matching that rarity tier. Spend your shards on cosmetics you can't get anywhere else.

Built-In Scarcity

Shard rewards decrease over time as more are earned across the player base. Early grinders get the biggest payouts.

Reward Halving

As the total supply of each gemstone grows, reward multipliers drop — from 100% down through 75%, 50%, 25%, and 12.5%. The earlier you earn, the more you get.

Rarity Distribution

Only 1% of players ever reach Diamond. Each tier above Emerald has fewer players, making those shards progressively harder to earn and more valuable to hold.
